About This Event
Proceeds from this event will go to supporting The 1st Annual Juneteenth event that will be happening June 18th and 19th downtown Bend in Drake Park!
There will be delicious food, drinks, music, and speakers. Come meet awesome community organizers, volunteers and talent that have all been working hard to create the fun, family-friendly two-day festival elevating Juneteenth throughout the state of Oregon. Juneteenth will feature unique entertainment, music, food, and dancing. There will be face painting for the kids, a variety of historical and educational exhibits, artistic displays, and recreation. The Father’s Group works to enhance the lives of children through education, leadership, and networking; while strengthening our community, eliminating barriers, and helping them reach their full potential. It is a dynamic, nonprofit POC-led organization, ready to meet the challenges of the times through a collaborative and positive approach. TFG teaches children how to become productive and engaged citizens, provides a safe space for people to talk and share experiences, and works with partners to create a more caring and inclusive community for all.
